Diana Quick is a writer of historical romances, who has also written mysteries under the name "Lynette Eason". She was born in England and spent much of her childhood in Wales. Her family moved to the United States when she was twelve. Her first job was as a waitress, then as a secretary, then as a teacher's aide
She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees from Emory University and the University of South Carolina, and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Georgia. She is currently the full-time faculty member for the Writers' Workshop at USC.
